Artist Information and Application
Mason’s Gallery represents more than 150 artists and craftsmen in our gallery at 207 Midway Street in Spring, TX and on the web at masonsgallery.com. The gallery features jewelry, glass, ceramics, metal, wood, garden art, sculpture and other unusual and distinct mediums. Mason’s represents many local and emerging artists. We are committed to offering our clients the best in American fine art and fine craft. For those who collect, this is an excellent place to find the emerging artist before they are widely known.
We are very active promoting the arts within our community and the Houston area at large. We are always looking for places and ways to promote our artists.
Space in our gallery is very limited; therefore, we can only accept a small number of new artists in each review period. If you are interested in submitting your work for consideration, please note the following:
All potential artists are reviewed by Mason’s staff twice a month. Each artist needs to submit their applications to masonsart@sbcglobal.net or via mail to the address shown above before 5 p.m. on following dates in 2008

Review Committee Meets

1st & 3rd Monday of each month
Artists will be evaluated by the following criteria:
1. Quality of design, materials and workmanship
2. Salability and pricing
3. Ability to maintain needed production
4. Availability of our display space
5. A fit with the style of our gallery
Artists are asked to submit an Artist Information Packet, including the following:
1. A resume or bio sheet
2. Full contact information including address, phone number, e-mail and web-site if applicable
3. Photos (on paper or CD) of work you are submitting
4. Description of materials, methods and techniques you use if not readily identifiable by your submission
5. List of all galleries and shops that carry your work
7. A stamped self-addresses envelope large enough to accommodate your packet so we can return it.
We will notify you within 2 weeks of our decision. If your work is accepted, Mason’s will work diligently to display and sell it. In return, we ask for exclusive representation in the Spring area. One of our marketing goals is to present our customers with new work that they do not see in other area galleries.
