Mason’s Gallery is the culmination of a life long dream of owner, Kathy Gava, to be immersed in the world of art. Growing up in Oklahoma, she had always drawn, painted and crafted but found her life path taking her away from her passion and into the corporate world. That detour; however, has proved to be of benefit since she “retired” in late 2004 and found herself owning a gallery. Living in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico, along with the corporate experience, enhanced the cooperation between the right and left brain enabling her to deal with the business aspect while retaining the artistic standards that make for a pleasing place for people to shop and experience the arts.
Her idea was a place to feature local and emerging artists and to provide a space of learning and art appreciation. We believe Mason’s to be a fun, eclectic gallery featuring the best in American Fine Art and Fine Craft. We take great pleasure in introducing an artist to the public and vice versa. Matching a person to an original work of art is very rewarding and we take that seriously.
Mason’s Gallery represents more than 150 artists and craftsmen in our gallery at 207 Midway Street in Spring, TX and on the web at masonsgallery.com. The gallery features jewelry, glass, ceramics, metal, wood, garden art, sculpture and other unusual and distinct mediums. While we specialize in local artists, we are constantly looking for the unusual, the rare and the best in class no matter where in the U.S it’s found. We want to provide our clients with unique items and experiences. For those who collect, this is an excellent place to find the emerging artist before they are widely known.
